F-Zero on my Virtual console.

I have been having a lot of fun with my Nintendo WII with the virtual console being one of the best features of the system. I downloaded Mario 64 last week and I don’t mind it, I never played it on Nintendo 64. Actually I never played anything on the Nintendo 64, I was in University and those where my Everquest days. It is far to say Heather is addicted to Mario 64, she is playing it every change she gets and watching her play is a game in it of itself.

Today I purchased F-Zero this was one of my favorite games for the SNES back in the day. I was so excited about this and have run into some technical problems. The game will not load! When I start the game all I get is a black screen and I can hear the music in the background. If I Press home I can see the screen in the background, but when I close this screen I still cannot start the game.  I have tried deleting the game and reinstalling with no luck.

I tried to post on Nintendo’s help forums but they appear to be down also…

This is the second game I have downloaded for the virtual console and I hope this is not a common issue.

So far I’ve had no trouble with the virtual console over ~8 games or so.

I am thinking a corrupt download or something. I will try it again on Monday.
