		<description>Hate to tell your this but you really don’t have a leg to stand on in this case. Toys R US and every store that sell games in Canada will have signs that clearly state that you cannot return opened games.  This is to prevent people from buying games and the copying them. 
This is standard practice in Canada and in the US as well and has been supported by the courts in the past. About all you can do is sell the game on E-bay if you are wanting to recover some money. You may end up making some money you never know. 
This is why publishers release demos of their games so you can play them first before you buy them.

		<description>I have a teenage kid who without my knowledge have bought a $280 XBOX 360 computer game at Toys R Us. After talikng to my son, we both agreed it was not a good buy considering the complaints I have heard about the game and computer games consumes so much time for kids it affects their studies. Unfortunately, my kid has already opened the box when I saw it. Thinking it would not be an issue, I returned the item to the store and got a surprise that store's policy for electromic item is "no return" when box has been opened. I tried to reason out that my kid hardly used it was in original "as bought" condition, but to no avail. I have initially made some research through the internet and have read a lot of alarming complaints about the product. 
This is really disturbing . I thought consumer's rights are strongly protected in Canada.
I would appreciate some advice on how to file a complaint.</description>

		<description>I just had the same experience at Toys R Us. I bought a keyboard as a Christmas present, the "Beginners 61-key keyboard" for 59.99, on sale from 79.99. Well I put batteries in it and it sounded like the speakers were blown. Brand new Duracell batteries right out of the box mind you. So I took it back and they said they would only allow me to exchange for the same item, which I thought was okay, since I figured the one I bought was just defective or broken (and PS I could tell it had been bought and returned previously.) So I tried the replacement they gave me and guess what? It's just garbage! Sounds horrible with batteries, and even with an AC adapter, it doesn't go loud enough, and the speakers are behind it.  I talked to the manager, and called corporate customer service, who all said "it's the new policy."
 
 Let the buyer beware with Toys R Us. I don't know what crackhead is making policy for the store these days, but it's damned ignorant because they just lost me as a customer.</description>

I looked at my charge station (which either does not work, and/or the battery pack is faulty)... and you know it's a bad product when there's no product name or company name on it anywhere.

Not on the station, not on the battery.   So it's not the same as yours, but a piece of crap still.

I just use rechargeable batteries now.   The Wii battery life is so good, that it's not that much of a hassle.</description>
