I own a Mitsubishi L200 warrior which is 4wd diesel turbo. Performance is actually quite good and MPG / fuel economy has improved on the new L200 08 model.

I'm not into the Nissan Rogue really.

Hi Thomas,

I actually purchased a Black Rogue SL AWD about 6 weeks ago, I just have not had the time to put a posting up on it. Really happy with it so far and I have not had any issues.

I have not figured out my milage but I am happy with.

I will be doing up a review soon, I just need the time write it.

Hi John,

I purchased a Rogue last October. Guess I must have been one of the first. Anyways, I looked at the CRV and the Rav4. I have to say I made the right choice. I got the SL AWD fully loaded tech package.

I see your point about the 6 CD changer I dont think I've used it once. Milage is pretty good. I tend to hammer it a bit and I'm still getting 11.2/100L. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

After sale service is great. However, I am at Airport Nissan. If you can make the trip out there, I would highly recommend them. I did have to take it in to have the air bag sensor replaced. chalk that up to first generation stuff, but other than that, its running great.

One additional point and then I will end this rather long comment. I have a 2 year old and 2 month old. I therefore consider space and utility to be a premium. Its the reason I bought the car to begin with. I can fit 2 car seats and a passenger in the back with little issue. Cargo is great. Have I done enough to convince you??

Here's hoping I did

Cheers,

Hey John,

Yea liked the Toyota Rav 4 but my main knock is the you seem to be paying a real premium for the Toyota name also their interest rates are extremely high. I have pretty much decided on the Rogue right now I just need to pull the trigger. I am thinking I may hold off for a couple of months and see what happens with interest rates etc.

I also need to decide do I want to go with front wheel drive or the all wheel drive; you need to get the all wheel drive if you want the leather package and tech package, which I want. But I really do not need all wheel drive, it is something that I can see using maybe once a year if that, like last Friday.
The cloth in the Rogue is not bad, but I prefer leather it just easier to keep clean and the tech package give me blue tooth and an intelligent key which is just cool. It also gives you XM Satellite radio which I do not care about.

Hey Jim - my uncle got the new CRV in the summer. He had the older model previously. I drove it around a bit. It was dark so I don't remember the inside of it too much while driving but I do remember liking it generally. One thing I found weird was the new penchant for the makers to put the shift lever on the dash. I'm not sure if the other vehicles do this - but I remember thinking it was strange. Maybe it's the new thing now - and I'm just not adjusting yet. =P I remember thinking it felt very very digital, and that if something broke, it'd be complicated to fix. But I have no real proof or experience to justify that - it was just a feeling I got driving it. But I'm sure the other vehicles you're considering are all very similar in these aspects.
